Hi.  I am Jackie, FNP-BC, PMHNP.  My background starts with being a registered nurse with 23+ years of direct patient care experience in a variety of settings including hospital and community outpatient areas. I desire to create with you a holistic and team approach to your treatment plan with an active role in wellness promotion.  My areas of clinical experience include oncology (outpatient and inpatient experience), labor & delivery, mother/baby and newborn nursery, med/surg and medical telemetry acute care settings.  My passion for helping those struggling with mental health is second to none.  I look forward to meeting you!

Dr Ian practices in his specialized fields of General Psychiatry, Neuropsychopharmacology, and Neuroimaging. He treats patients using a combination of medication and/or supplements and sees his patients in the Reston, VA clinic as well as remotely via telepsychiatry. He treats mood disorders including bipolar disorder and depression, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), & Impulse Control Disorders. He also treats disorders of the nervous system including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Dr Ian is licensed in 8 states, including North Carolina and serves as the medical director for KV-Health.  Dr Ian consults with our providers Jackie and Katasha on difficult cases and reports to the North Carolina Medical Board.
